Match Grade Apparel Partners with Heroes in Transition to support Vets

LONG BEACH, Calif., (January 2, 2017)— Match Grade Apparel, a veteran-owned, US-made apparel company, today announced their 2017 first quarter charity partner, Heroes In Transition. As the latest charity partner, Match Grade is proud to donate $1 of every purchase made from January 1 - March 31 to HIT in order to support their efforts of providing service members assistance with home modifications for disabled veterans, Transitional Support Group Therapy, financial support for service families and assistance dogs for Veterans.

"We are so proud and honored to be partnering with Heroes In Transition. The transition process from military to civilian life is an extremely important and fragile time. We can always use more resources and more assistance, and what HIT is doing is vitally important to the well-being of our service members," said Alec Reisberg, founder of Match Grade.

Match Grade currently offers nine military-themed shirt designs for both men and women in crew neck, v-neck and tank top styles, all in various colors. Additional designs are released throughout each quarter.

Match Grade Apparel is especially excited to participate in Heroes In Transition's Ruck Relay Race in May 2017. This event is a 220+ mile race through every town on Cape Cod to support the HIT PTSD programs. As every service member is forced to carry the burden of war during active service and beyond, carrying the ruck sack is symbolic of hardships endured and the perseverance required to complete the mission. The ultimate goal of this event affords Heroes In Transition the opportunity to purchase PTSD Assistance Dogs for a minimum of four veterans in need, all in the continuing effort to never leave a fallen comrade behind.
